Description
Another canyon scene from Bisti Badlands. I'm filing this one away for a future photo manipulation in which I place something (or someone) atop that pedestal. Suggestions gladly accepted...

You'll think of something! Oh, you could put a Jeep up there and put a Hummer down at the bottom with wheels spinning trying to get up there, LOL!

Really impressive!! Congratulations to #500!

Endless possibilities for the platform! Aztec sacrifice, animal perch, king-of-the-hill game. You could put a door in the bottom and a chimney at the top. Maybe it's a kitchen table, or the centerpiece for an underwater scene. The top does seem to have a face! I'll look forward to seeing what you come up with! Those three formations behind the platform seem to be observers, which is pretty cool, except that anything you put on the platform would block them from our view. I'm digging this place, and with every image you push me closer to adding it to our itinerary!

Impressive place and shot.

Beautiful shot. It would be nice to see a dinosaur walking around this place. Or an Apache getting ready to spring an ambush.

It almost looks like the petrified wood and the hard flat rocks in this photo prevents erosion, of the basalt base, from heavy rain. Just thinking aloud!
