Description
Just nipped home for some clean clothes, thought I'd say hello...No internet at F-in-L's yet, the trouble is once you start a 24hr 'block' the clock keeps ticking whether you use it or not :-( and I'm not getting enough spare time to make it worthwhile.Karen was off Thursday / Friday and managed to wangle a personal day Saturday, and F-in-L made steady improvement. When we announced we were both in work today he had a monumental relapse, along with a list of what he wanted preparing for his meals.....so 'ongoing'
As I mentioned previously, I've been looking at unfinished models to fill some time. The above is one such, not sure how old this is but it's old..I textured the body after Rob and I visited Hendon so he may recognise it, though it was much shinier when we saw it...this is one that Bazze has done and so probably why I never got fully 'into it'...however if I finish it I can send it up against my 109, for what he did to that ambulance.
'Steelrazer' recently posted some great WWI images that began the usual 'Knights of the sky' discussion...I've just read an account of two conversations on this subject, one a conversation between Adolph Galland and Herman Goering, the other the views of Hugh Dowding during the Battle of Britain...quite eye opening, somebody needs to remind me of this when I'm back in the saddle.....right, got to run, back in work in 7 hrs, but hopefully 'off' Tuesday AND Wednesday.....why do I get the feeling that's going to cost me?.......

Fully understand that time is an issue Neil and always family comes first. I hope he's improving as it's worry and we all wish him the best. When you have the time those conversations would be fascinating as so many historic conversations are lost forever. Fine WIP on that one mate :)

Good work
T.Rex
Hmmm... why do I think of "Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer" when I see this plane? I just gives me the silly giggles! The dirty worn camo texture is great. Get some of that worn touch on the red nose and the wheels and this will be avaery bit as good as bazze planes. Hope F-in-L is getting better. Have you ever shown him one of your 3D creations, or flying scenes? If so, what was his reaction? Keep up the good work! :-)
