Description
First up "sorry"!!, I was going to post a photo of the OV-10 Bronco which 'Tammarion' and 'auntietk' spotted as yesterday's Pop Quiz. However, plans to 'tidy' the picture up went out the window this morning...'F-in-L'...just finished packing a bag, and I got a phone call from work to say the Chief Tech has gone sick and I've been 'drafted' back on the tools....at times like this I'm really glad I'm multi-talented :-)
So, I don't generally use my own models for 'serious' renders, I leave that to those far more talented among you.I do however occasionally get inspired and things like this appear. As is usually the case, this was done before the 'Ultimate Bf-109' was released, and I hung on to it to see what others came up with first, and then I forgot about it.Robs post 'Desert Storm' yesterday reminded me most fortuitously that this was 'somewhere' abouts.
Not sure how long we'll be 'away', I'll have to raid the piggy bank for wi-fi connetion if it's any length of time.
Catch you later........
(Ambulance was free at VanishingPoint, may now be at OnTarget3D?

Hope things arn't about to become too stressful mate at times like this when our ability to cope with all that life throws at us is called on :) Of all the textures you did for this model, this one is my favourite. It's 'weathered' perfectly. Keep in touch with what's going on :) Oh and yesterdays post... yeah it is and that would have been waaay out lol.

Neil...dude!! This is a serious piece. I also agree with Maxidyne about the weathered texturing. All in all I love everything about it. All ten of my thumbs up to you. Paying work is always good, even when it sometimes cuts into the fun stuff. Peace and prosperity.

A superb render. I hope that family and work do not get too stressful.

Yep this is a lovely pic, the texture background and overall feel are great. You should be justifiably proud of his one. As for yesterday....a Bronco..duh, didn't spot that one.

"FLOOR IT, SERGEANT!! GET US THE HELL OUTTA HERE!!" Strafing an ambulance...that low (and against the Geneva Convention, isn't it?) Great movie moment, though...

The guy flyin' this 109 probably got his kicks knocking his grandmother about too. I agree with steelrazer. This is a serious work. Atta boy.

Hmmm.... how did you manage to get such a good photo - by leaning out the cockpit of your Spitfire? Excellent work, Neil! And hope that work gig isn't going to butcher your poor little piggy bank (they are SO cute!). Keep up the good work as you have the time! :-)

Can't think of a single negative for this one but a whole lot of positives. Very effective and realistic. Too bad the pilot has targeted an ambulance but such things do and did happen. Sorry to be so long away.

That's a jewel all right... that texture is simply awesome at that scale and I'm still amazed at what you can do with google... it merges together so well.
