It's been one week since Jagermeister left us. Coming home at night is the hardest because he would always push to the front of the other rescues because I was "Daddy". It was him and me before the rest came into my life. You hobbled out the first time we met at the hospital after they rebuilt your back leg, leaned against me--and peed down my leg. The end was quick (about a month)--we knew you were sick, but as hard as the Vets looked, they could not find your killer until it was too late. Rest in peace My Puppy--all Jeep rides going forward are on sunny days with the top down.
