Description

Pasha, Bill's new acquaintance from Paris, has convinced Bill to stop off at his family's ancient castle on their tour of Eastern Europe. Pasha jumped at the chance to be Bill's guide. The two no sooner get off the train than it starts to rain. Much to their relief, the old family chauffer is waiting for them with umbrellas. 'Here is Arik with the car to take us to the castle. I called ahead and requested he drive my great grandfather's limo! It is such a riot to ride in! I wasn't thinking about it raining. Sorry!' 'That is okay. Looks like we will stay dry in the back but I feel sorry for Arik having to drive! This rain is really starting to come down hard! How far is it to your castle and how old did you say it was again?' 'Arik is dressed warmly and has come prepared for rain. We only have a few miles to drive. The castle has been in my family for over 500 years! We have modernized the living quarters but keep a large portion of it original. There is a huge tourist industry that loves viewing the old relic. We better hurry though, before we get soaked. Well done. All the little details; the luggage, the grass, the umbrellas. I like it when an image holds my eye to the canvas searching for more details.

A wonderful story. I hope it continues. I would still like to see the old castle. Excellent artwork! The weather is like ours. Not only rain, but snow.
