Description
Once the limo and its occupants left the little train station, the light show began. The further they went, the more frequent and powerful were the lightning strikes.
Soon, the glimmering silhouette of an old castle could be made out in the distance. As they approached the old estate, the gates opened automatically to admit the limo. The old castle glimmered and gleamed more ominously the closer they got as natures lighting revealed more and more of her in the nighttime glow.
Arik, the chauffer, did his best to keep the limo on the road, trying to see through the windshield in the downpour. Luckily, he was wearing a good quality rain coat which kept him dry as the rain poured into the open front area of the car.
Bill, the young American, watched in amazement, as the light show went on. Pasha, his host and guide, could barely conceal a grin on his face as he watched his new friend's reaction to the scene for he was used to this kind of weather around the castle.
This could prove to be a most interesting night for them all.

This is brilliant on several levels. Light recedes and dark comes forward. By placing the dark car forward you have created an optical illusion, which is really what art is all about. Anyway, by doing this, the rain appears to have depth, appearing both in the background and the foreground. As for the story.. yea, I'll have to leave that to someone else. When I see that many words in one spot it just looks like squiggly lines moving around in a vortex. But I'm sure it's brilliant. Even what I write.. if I look back I'm like.. huh.. I hope what I wrote makes sense.

This is no weather to go on vacation. But soon have indeed achieved their goal. I am curious how it goes. Fantastic story and great scene. BRAVO!

Very good dread scene, like the ones we can see in fantastic movies. The rain and the flash effects are awesome and this old car is absolutely wonderful. The old castles are often supposed to be haunted, I hope they're not superstitious. ;)
