Description

The Camelias are starting. Last year they were all about 3 weeks earlier! Ralphie killed another fox this morning in broad daylight after I came back from swimming. It was 10.30 and I never expected them to be about that late! I suspect it was the same bold little vixen that was knocking on my windows a week or so back. He has lots more little holes in his face which are still weeping a bit an hour later. Luckily the biggest hole missed his eye. I keep antibiotics for him in the house and of course Vetacept anticeptic lotion, and we are visiting the vets after lunch anyhow to pick up Fritz's normal meds, so we'll check him out then. Now to dispose of the body.I shall phone the council.

Well that's that. Ralph is definitely off my Christmas list. Poor fox. Isn't there something that can be done to get Ralph to leave them alone. They are related after all. The camelia is beautiful but appears to have a bit of a skin condition.

Quite stunning! A classy Camelia indeed! It is Ralph defending his territory I suppose? A tough little fighter anyway.

at lest he can kill the foxes. hope it will not be two on one then he be in trouble. got to watch out. read of big cats in the UK. guess they just rumors. Other wise some one would had killed one or they would have killed a lot of sheep by now. They be like big foot in other parts of the world just people see them and that about it. But foxes you do have. Guess you need to talk to the counsel about a fox hunt to thin out the foxes.

Well, in general, what wysiwig said. Ralphie is indeed the battle-scarred 'Terminator', when it comes to vulpines. Beautiful pic of the Camelia, Andrea.

Well, they do tease him something fierce, don't they? Is there no way to fox-proof the garden? Poor Ralphie, I hope he doesn't get an infection.

Beautiful flower, color, postwork and capture Andrea. You said that he was alright, so three cheers for Ralph because I believe that he was just protecting you, Buster, Fritz and Rosie.
