Description

Modeled in 3dsmax 2013, rendered in Octane render v1.0. A relatively simple diamond ring at first glance, created using standard subdivision surface modeling techniques. However, the diamond itself was done, in part, using Fracture Voronoi Maxscript, to create "solid" facets that extend through the object's interior volume. I think this technique helps give the diamond material a bit more depth, and interesting internal caustics and dispersion.

On both a modelling and rendering level, this is hands-down the best-looking 3D diamond I've ever seen! Stunning attention to detail, my friend!

You certainly have achieved depth with that diamond, a dazzling sight to behold! I also like the combination of silver/white and yellow gold on the band - very dramatic design ... BB
