Description
This was taken through the window of an old building in the historic town of Jacksonville, Oregon. Until last year, this barn-like building housed an antique emporium. The owner, an elderly lady, died last year & the building is now empty & for sale. Previously, the building was home to the town's blacksmith & I believe it was constructed in the 19th century. As I was walking through town with my wife & some friends, I stopped to peek in the window & I liked the way the view combined a direct image of the room inside combined with reflections of the view behind me (& a bit of my jacket & hand as well). Tara (auntietk) is a master of this kind of image & I hope she appreciates this one...

I love this! Using your body as a reflection block was inspired. I love it that it took me a while to figure it out ... you had me totally engaged and fascinated! This turned out beautifully. SO interesting! Thanks for the kind remark. You made my day! :)

Superbly done and as said above it takes a while to work out what is going on. I thought first it was some sort of collage.

Nice mini-Urbex there Claude, like your treatment of this. Now then the trough association was set up to govern and control cattle droves in the early years. Strange as it may seem, but yes cattle were driven through the heart of the city to the slaughter houses. Also the mode of transport back then was obviously hoses. Kind of vexes me a bit that we had to have political control over animals rights to a simple drink of water?

I thought this was a photo manipulation merge at first but what you've actually done is very clever and more intriguing - there's so much to see here! Excellent work!

Wow, that is really great postwork. I love how you have used your reflection to add both mystery and clarity into the composition. This would not have looked half as good without the deft use of HDR.
