Description
Teasel was used for carding wool but for me it's the look of the head that's interesting, you can just see the flower buds showing between the spikes the flowers are a pink colour. It reminds me of the electron microscope shot of virus.

I've shot teasels, but never got this close - nice shot. But I actually really like the even tighter crop on your thumbnail & was a little disappointed that the full size image was a wider view...
