Description
This plant thrives in the gravel on the nursery car park It started from a packet of seed my wife spread on the garden but it didn't like it there so it somehow moved itself to the stoney area.
These are the seed heads in winter, the other plant that keeps it company is an Evening Primrose which also migrated there.

Migrating plants are such a wonder! I rather like the idea of gardens deciding that they don't want to grow where you plant them, because the gravel bed, the car-lot or the neighbor's gutters are all so much more interesting. I love the frost, indicating the direction of wind, and the light is fantastic. I really like this immensely.

Beautiful frost patterns on the seed heads and the almost B&W works very nicely for me!
