I thought he looked pretty sinister in this pose, though the snow on his nose makes him a bit comical. He's one of the acorn woodpeckers who hangs out in the tree outside my living room window, making occasional trips to the bird feeder attached to the deck...

Wow, fantastic. You caught him just perfect. Really incredible focus, just look at those beautiful textures on the snow covering the lichen. The dof really brings the bird into a clear focus too. Great shooting.
