Description

Heute wieder ein Bild aus meinem Album "Wege". Wasserwege gehören natürlich auch dazu. Es ist das Spreeufer in Berlin-Mitte. Im Hintergrund ist der Berliner Dom (erbaut 1894-1905) zu sehen. Links der Neue Marstall (erbaut 1897-1900). Im Erdgeschoss und im 1. Obergeschoss des Spreeflügels befanden sich Stallungen für bis zu 350 Pferde. Das 2. Obergeschoss von Schloss- und Spreeflügel war für repräsentative Ausstellungen und Lagerung von Kutschen und Schlitten ausgebaut. Preussens Glanz und Gloria ============================================= Today again a picture from my album "Paths". Water ways among many others also. It is the river Spree in Berlin-Mitte. In the background is the Berlin Cathedral (built 1894-1905) to see. Left the New Marstall (built 1897-1900). On the ground and first Floor of the Spree wing, were stables for 350 horses. The 2nd Upper floor of the castle and Spree wing was built for prestigious exhibitions and storage of carriages and sleighs. Prussia Blaze of Glory
