What a fantastic image Mickey, and a superb way to make an important point. All to often we take something as simple as electricity for granite, and one day may end up paying a price for that. The point of view you went with here adds a very dramatic feel to the image, and I love the almost surreal effects you added.

No, I can't. But it's true. There is too much wasted energy. Have a very nice day, dear Michel!

I can't imagine what would happen to the world today without electricity... It would be chaos for sure. But, my family lived without electricity for a few years when I was young. Didn't seem terrible, but we didn't have many modern conveniences either. Very cool image my friend and a good question.

Very scarey thought. Back to burning wood for heat and cooking, rendering animals for their fat to make candles for light and having to TALK FACE TO FACE!! The banking system collapses because everything is on computers. There is a TV show called Revolution that is based on this exact idea and it's quite good. Of course you have to have electricity to see it.

Yes I have been without power up here for the past two weeks. My portable generator ran out of gas and the temp dropped below 0 for a while. Wow that is cold!

My Grand mother when she was living on the farm had no electricity. We sometimes visited there and it was actually very peaceful having no electricity. She does not have the farm any more and she passed away a long time ago. Outstanding post work my friend. God Bless.

We could not cope without it, you only have to have a power cut to see how almost everything we use needs electric :o) & we haven't a clue what to do :o) xx

J'ai essayé de voir en taille réelle mais j'obtiens ceci: Fatal error: MySQL error: Too many connections in /rn1/renderosity/public_html/classes/class.bw_Database.php(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code on line 162 A world with out electricity would be a very dark place (at night). They had it in the past and some survived it lol. It would be a different place to what we have today though, I wouldn't be typing this for one thing.. so lets keep the power on.. I tried to view in full size but keep getting this: Fatal error: MySQL error: Too many connections in /rn1/renderosity/public_html/classes/class.bw_Database.php(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code(1) : eval()'d code on line 162

Yes I can, but since I asked my Grandfather (who crossed all the last century) "what was the best improve or invention", he answered me : the electricity and water at home (he said from a tap) I'm living a better life. In my thoughs, without electricity, war will be back again in our calm countries, not only in "poors" as it's always...but everywhere, worse that it is now...cause when you have no "confort", you have nothing to loose. So...
