Description

The total snow for the storm came to 17inches. This picture is of me plowing the drive when there was only about 12inches, early yesterday morning. The drive had been previously plowed at about 3 inches. I am wearing the dust mask to protect my lungs after my recent pneumonia. . It is sunny today and 24F. We are supposed to get more snow on Sunday. Thank you for viewing my gallery and any comments you make. Jim

That is an insane amount of snow you got Jim, and I'm sure it's going to take you a long time to recover from it. Just remember to be careful while working outside in those cold wintry conditions, it can be dangerous

I feel for you having to get out in the elements. when the weather is bad I do not miss working at all. one winter in the late 80's I worked at the convention center on a house being built for a builders convention. the temperature was in the teens in the mornings. I had double clothes and overalls plus a coat and gloves

Brings back memories of NH. We had a 20' X 60' driveway to clear every snow and Ray would make a path through the yard so the girls could get to the school bus stop without getting on the road. Don't stay out too long at a time.

When Bill moved out here from Kansas, he couldn't believe we wouldn't need his snowblower in Seattle. :) It's fun for me to see someone running one of these! Nobody here has 'em. When we do get snow it's thick and heavy and wet, and it's usually only about four inches at the most. As long as you have to clear it out, I'm happy to see the process!

We are finally having a heavy blanket of snow on the mountains in Hawaii. I'm glad its way up there as it looks like a lot of work where you are at. Yet, snow is beautiful. Aloha
