My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!Â

Lots of great closeup opportunities in that engine! Your new camera is working well with you, fantastic detail at an ISO of 6400!

I like that you can find such cool art in the most mundane places. I sure wouldn't have thought of it. Nice.

Love the bits of detail Tara.

This one's speaks to me. I like the HDR look to it.

Interesting shot - one of those trademark images of yours in which you notice things that others would tend to gloss over. I only wish the glare on those white areas wasn't so bright & that I could see more detail...

Excellent shot of this engine :-)

Definitely needs to be seen in zoom. The details are amazing. I like the little cotter pins. Screws tend to loosen and fall off without them. Brilliant capture.

Indeed.

Superb capture Tara. God Bless.

As I scrolled the image down and saw the top pipe I thought it was the handle of a bull whip and that Bill was in trouble :-) Just stunning detail and clarity, love the contrast with the little 'dabs of color' Rolls Royce quality always shows....and just like Merlin you've worked your magic.....

Indeed, they are a work of art in many ways! What a wonderful abstract you've created here, Tara! Just lovely!

I never realized how similar therotary engines are to old Harley engines. This is very cool.

Wonderful choice of POV here, and the low light seems to caress all those metal bits and bobs. Excellent shot!

A Radial engine I believe, as to what, way to close to tell.. But NICE SHOT! Rob
