My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Cool effect! It took my eyes a minute to figure it out. I was like.. where's the rest of the photo? Then I figured out it was a reflection. Nice camera work.

This would make a very challenging subject for a painting. Complex and subtle.

Wonderful reflection, almost surreal.

I agree with Andrea. It would be interesting if an artist could do a painting of this picture. Amazing capture Tara. God Bless.

A superb reflection, the chair looks to be actually placed there. Excellent shot and very well seen.

I'm afraid I have to disagree and swim against the stream with this one. I see the reflection but the image remains confusing and the result is that it does not show either the chair or the piano to best effect. I do like the part showing the piano keys and the part with the wonderful colors in the piano hinge.

At first glance it looks like a chair built on the end of the piano.

Reflections are fascinating in all things. You have done so many. But on the side of a baby grand piano is one of the more unusual places. It would be fun to review your gallery and do a collage of 5-10 of your more unusual reflection images. Reflections are always a great tease to the eye. Well done:*

Well spotted reflection. The way you've composed the image around it is very appealing - I can see it as a kind of abstract patchwork of light & dark shapes that form a kind of visual puzzle...

In my mind I see someone sitting in this Louis XIV chair, with interest listening to a piano concert. Drinking on the music which comes from the instrument without someone who played on this silent piano. A marvelous mood you've captured here, Tara. btw, thank you so much for your thoughts sharing by your lovely comment; you give words which I had thinking of too, but which you better than I can express because of my 'threepenny' English ;-).

Very clever that reflection.
