Sorry, you're probably getting tired of seeing Ursala, but she's what I've been working on all week and that's what's in the window in Poser-land. Just a few little things and she's done!
@Rod: My grandma wasn't 'beautiful' in the same sense Ursala is, but she was beautiful in other ways. She was very feminine and elegant without being prissy. The only time she wore pants was to go fishing or work in her rose garden. I have a picture of her mowing the lawn in a dress. Lol. She carried herself very proudly and she had a certain charisma about her. She liked to dress up too :) I still miss 'er.
And yes, it's Prae's dress again. What can I say, Ursie likes purple - a lot. It's because of her royal blood I think.

Purple is a lovely colour and it is also a mourning colour. Ursula looks a little sad but you have created a lovely portrait.

Oddly enough, the color for mourning used to be yellow and still is in some places. Like most flowers, the calla lily has a symbolic meaning. It is, ironically, associated with both weddings and funerals. The calla lily is symbolic of marriage and purity because of its white color and its trumpet-like shape, similar to a woman's shape. It is also the symbol of rebirth and resurrection; therefore, it is widely used in funeral arrangements and planted in cemeteries. I know Roxy will get the symbology here. She knows who Ursala is ;)

Incredibly beautiful and yes, full of symbolism! A wonderful and beautiful work of art, Ray, and Ursula is looking absolutely gorgeous! Indeed, beauty can be manifested in many many different ways. I often wish we could combine the times when your grandmother (and mine) were in their heyday with the knowledge and technology we have now. Even now I can picture my grandmother on my dad's side – I never really knew my grandmother on my mother's side – cutting the grass in her little front yard with one of those push mowers with the rotating blades that was powered only by human power. Innocent times lost forever...
