Description
This is the color version of
my sketch, "A Young Robert Redford".
The color was applied through PSP7
along with some use by the smudge
and push tool. The Frame, Background,
Corner Horseshoes and Rose were done
in PSP7 with the final touches
accomplished through Corel.
I want to take this opportunity to thank
ShadowWind, racin-jason, and bkelly for
their gracious time and efforts in pushing
me to be a better artist. Every artist
should hunger for growth, always reaching
for what seems to be the unreachable
goal. There is allot of stroking on RR,
nice for the ego, but it doesn't often
provoke the need to achieve greater
depth to one's work. We should never
be afraid of that which would develop
the skill that lies hidden. I hope that
you are blessed with people in your life
who are graciously honest, who offer
constructive criticism to benefit you
as an artist...Cheryl

I have no criticism to give you. Sorry. It's great. Wonderful emotions and really shows the person. I think the work you do is so personal, it would be hard to criticize it.

Wonderful, Cheryl. He is so handsome..I like the hat too. It gives him a very rugged look. This is very nice!

This has extreme character/ personality. It's all in the eyes and the darker shades around them. Really well done. One of your best so far.
