Description

just playing with a less than perfect photo (just a touch of blur) just because I can! I wish every one a great week. In regards to some questions brought up on my last upload: I don't have problem being a passenger in a car - I just have anxiety attacks big time if I get behind the wheel. We think they come from the wire brushes on the street sweepers. they apparently splinter on the ends. other than that idea, we've no clue. When the wire gets imbedded in the tire, it will work itself into the tube; my tire is only about 1/8 in thick and is inflated at 87 psi (609 KPa; 6.09 BAR) so it is very hard. in realative thicknesses, the wire, in order to flatten a car tire would be about the diameter of a small finishing nail and about 1/2" long and would have to go straight into the section that touches the road straight on.

Love this super cool looking manip Mike, nice work. Glad you found out what is causing the problems with your tires, and hopefully you can figure out a way to avoid the areas where the street sweepers patrol

There is no such thing as a bad picture, grins, you can use it to play with like this very cool one, you can use it as texture, you can sharpen it and see what happens, you can turn it into a painting, there's so much you can do with a picture that needs a little help! love what you did with this one, it's a beauty!

This looks pretty cool Mike. It does look like a white out :) I like all the subtle colors in it though. Nice messin' around. I was thinking street sweepers but you must have different sorts of brushes than we do here. The bristles on ours are about 1/16" flat hard wires that are maybe the thickness of 5 pieces of paper. Yours must be actual bristles then.
