You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia,  if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess  I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !**                                              that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Great image and commentary. Gore was right, however, the Republicants are in a permanent case of denial ( they go by faith and not facts) so therefore there is no problem with the climate.... I'll quit my rant now elsewise I'll be banned forever....LOL hope the weather improves for you an all in Oz

Good grief!! It is actually cool looking that they are all connected like that. It never rains in south Florida unless a hurricane comes along and then we get a foot of water in one day.

Oh my this is an amazing shot and love that reflection. Weather is sometimes not what we expect however from time to time we get what we want.

A timely commentary...when it's wet and humid, everything sticks. This all takes me back to living in the Delta of Vietnam. For a year nothing ever really dried:)

What a brilliant image, Brigitte! Absolutely marvellous ! That sort if weather might have put you off emigrating if you'd known, but maybe it'ts only temporary. We have been promised a glimmer of sun for Monday...wayheee !

Oooooohh! I like this! :) Sorry to hear about your wet weather ... that must be horrid! Even here, where we get so much rain, it's not usually like that. (For one thing it's a heck of a lot colder!!) Hang in there, baby!

Very good photo!!! I hope that the weather will improve soon! We had a very strong continuous rain...quite unusual for this place...thunders, lightning, floods...the city was a mess! People were mad with the metereologists for not predicting the tempest...mad with electric company for losing power...mad with everything! Then the sun returned and the mood is better...for now... Hugs!

Nicely done. It almost looks like an illustration. Actually Al Gore got it wrong. Worldwide the weather is changing faster than anyone predicted. Is the rain falling in the drought and wildfire areas? At least there would be some good from all that misery.

It makes a great photo. I don't envy you all the circumstances surrounding your predicament Brigitte.

Just like elephants walking in a conga line...LOL ! Still don't think it will be enough tissues to soak up all the wet weather, I've almost forgotten what the sun looks like ! Kool POV and postworking effects ! ~Cheers~

I've had tissues do that. You turned it into a fantastic image! I love the surreal look to it and the reflections and shadows. This is absolutely stunning. I love it! I hope your weather improves soon.

Yes Brigitte, we are getting a hammering lately, the flood waters have come up once again in Bundaberg, & all the good work we have done cleaning up is down the drain again. Yes we need a few tissues, it is a crying shame. Roads are all cut again. Glenda

Very good composition.

I like this a lot. It's such an attractive image in terms of colors and composition and then you realize it's a very mundane moment that was turned into something really interesting.

Well, this is a very cool-crazy photo, which I love how it came out. Here you can let all your fantasy free out, by studying it, dear Gitti. About your weather....grrrr, thats horrified. But, hoping things are a better by now. Otherwise you might get fungus between your toes. ;-). Hang in there, Brigitte, not only the tissues, but in the first place 'YOU'! btw, thanks for your comment, I don't know, what means: tobogganing .
