jsa2001 - file size is 320 megs in bryce, 140 in rhino, and the 3ds file of the cathedral was 62 megs. It does zip down to a nice and tidy 25 megs though, so I may through it up in the marketplace. filmguy - yep, the face is a mesh, a real polygon eater hehe.

That looks fantastic!! Very nicely detailled. Is it based on a real cathedral?

Poisen, I believe I had a month to make that for the challenge we were doing. Of course, that was 1 hour here, 2 hours there :) Overall, I'd say about 30 hours worth in that. Those details are time killers! lol

I don't know why I never commented on this but I have to say that without a doubt you have modeled the best building I have ever seen grace the Rhino3D forum :) Nice work man.

TK, thanks man, that's a high honor coming from you :) I've been doing my best all this week to make this baby useable by the standard home computer user. My first test with someone else yielded freezing programs and blue screens of death. Apparently the model is too big :( So i've been spending hours & hours trying to get it down to a useable size, but so far, every "optimization" I do just looks funny. Hopefully I can find the happy medium somewhere so I can sell this thing. Otherwise it will sit on my hard drive mocking me lol Thanks again!
