I just love the Lichens at this time of year when they can be seen so clearly on the bare twigs.

Oh, I like a good lichen...I can't name the zillions of different breeds. I only know, lichens that look like lichens, or lichens that look like ripped stuff, or lichens that carry their own pots, and such things. The colors are beautiful, and of a shade I only ever see carried off by lichens. I've nabbed a few decent shots of...um...Chicago lichens myself, and this inspires me to go looking for more.
