Description

Houston, We have a comet..... It was awesome! There was about 15 people from the astronomy club at the old Worley Observatory last night. Cameras, telescopes, binoculars on tripods, all hunting for a streak of light. About 7:45pm we spotted it through a pair of binos. All cameras went wild as we calculated ISO, and sutter speed. I was shooting ISO 200 at 30 seconds w/ f5 at about 200mm. It was fun! I have a picture of an airplane too. haha

Excellent job you did! It reminds me of photographing Halley many years ago and allowing a lineup of people to look through my telescope at it, only to find when I went back to my car that someone had stolen my fur hat.

I tried to find it the other night but it was too low, in the light pollution. That was about the only clear night we had for about a month. Infuriating, stupid British weather..... Bought an OIII filter for my Skywatcher 80ED over a month ago and havent had a chance to use it yet.....

I love it! I tried from my roof top in Mesa, AZ, but the pollution and light pollution defeated me.
