Description

Took the kids to Monterey a few weekends ago. The Otter tank is under construction to our disappointment. However we did catch feeding time in the Kelp forest tank. The diver is hooked up audibly to another staff member outside the tank giving the presentation. This way people may ask questions directly to the diver. Here we are getting to meet the diver. The feeding frenzy has yet to begin, but already the natives are getting restless. Am looking forward to a peaceful day to immerse myself in all the wonderful galleries. To the kind souls that leave their mark whether a comment, rating, or save the image as a fav, you are very much appreciated, thank you!!! Thank you all that viewed my last image below. thumb_2416605.jpg

Nice one. I remember taking my young daughter years ago to a similar display. When the food was dropped in the tank, the fish (sharks, rays etc etc) all ripped each other to pieces and the water went RED! Screaming ensured!!!!!!!

I love the kelp tank at Monterrey Bay Aquarium and your images shows why. Always something interesting going on. It's an amazing exhibit - and a nice place to sit and rest for a few minutes. Great work
