Description

Crystal and I took a bike ride around the famous 17 mile drive, located on the Monterey peninsula. This little humming bird worked these coastal flowers for a couple of minutes. Allowing me to work my camera and snap a couple hand held images. Am missing the community here. A great week to all. Oh, yes...looks really good at the zoom:) Used to live in Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula a long time ago. This shoreline brings back good memories.

You know Dana I have done this ride and actually seen hummingbirds on it too! I think they were the only one's I have ever seen in my life come to think of it.

Great capture. Would have been fine even without the hummingbird - the combination of foreground & background here are very appealing. I've been taking photos of a hummingbird here by my house but haven't gotten one I'm satisfied with yet...
