Description

Here I am photographing food coloring in a container of water. I wanted it to be much bigger, but forgot about the reflection/refraction properties of water and ended up getting my halogen work lights into portions of the image, so I had to crop them out. I can see a homemade broadlight and seamless background/diffusion screen holder in my future. In the meantime, I will probably try this again with available sunlight. I had to go into macro mode to get this right with my lens right up on the container of water. This was inspired by whaleman's excellent Teri series where she was moving the fabric around.

Helped one of my photo instructures do something like this for a commercial shoot once. This is good work. Try turning off all the lights and take different sohts with the light coming from under, over, & sides of the glass container. Excellent work
