Description

Please, look in full size... Considered to be one of the most elegant of chauffer-driven automobiles of the 1920's, the Lincoln Model L Towncar was introduced in 1924. The Model L was an exclusive portrayal of the brand that represents everything that embodies American Luxury, For 1929, Lincoln offered 26 body styles by 14 coachbuilders, including Brunn, Dietrich, Judkins, LeBaron, Locke, Waterhouse and Willoughby. Also, Lincoln offered its own bodies. Brunn produced a total of 58 examples of this Lincoln in 1929 and 1930. The cost new of this car was $7,200. One of these Lincoln was used by Jack Legs Diamond, Jack "Legs" Diamond (born Jack Moran; July 10, 1897 December 18, 1931), also known as Gentleman Jack, was an Irish American gangster in Philadelphia and New York City during the Prohibition era. A bootlegger and close associate of gambler Arnold Rothstein, Diamond survived a number of attempts on his life between 1916 and 1931, causing him to be known as the "clay pigeon of the underworld". In 1930, Diamond's nemesis Dutch Schultz remarked to his own gang, "Ain't there nobody that can shoot this guy so he don't bounce back?" On December 18, 1931, Diamond's enemies finally caught up with him, shooting him in Albany, New York . Soon available for Poser on RR.

Very excellent model again; I'm impressed by the amount of radiator fins on the side of the hood. That will bring the Prohibition Era back to life, let's dance Charleston and drink "Soda" from dusk until dawn.
