Description

Here is my bison shot from Teddy Roosevelt Park. The heard wanders into the campground and eats the grass early in the morning and in the evening! This guy was only about 6 feet from my car door. You can see part of the window frame in the bottom left.

Excellent shot of a Plains Bison! They often do appear quite dark and so become a difficult subject to capture as you see it because our eyes are so fantastic and allow us to see it as no sensor yet devised can quite catch it. In their darkness they are like the opposite of the Moon which we can also see much better than we can capture.
