Abreojos means "open eyes" in Spanish. I live on the tip of Baja California and Colorado before that.
2013 update. Had to go to work in the states since the crash of 2008. Speend my summers in ND working. Spring and summer in the southwest and winters home in Cabo. Got back into photography and am enjoying that far more than digital landscape programs for many reasons but mainly because it get me away from the computer and out in the world again!
Since I Started playing around with digital art several years ago and have created images I never thought I had the talent to create. I have learned from many great artist in this community since IÂ became a member IÂ believe back in 2002. Â Thanks for stopping by!

I like the distal snow capped mountains and how they tie the land in with the sky. Amazing sky structure and wonderful soft late day colors. I would not have believed this to be an f 5.6 shot given the great depth of focus.

A really splendid landscape, excellent capture!

Love the light and shadow! I won't be stomping around in places where people are shooting guns. I'd rather be alive than right.
NightGallery
Awesome shot. Sky and shadows cast really bring out the beauty in the landscape. Nicely seen and captured.

Wonderful tonal range and composition. Unfortunately I see a bit of pixeling in the clouds. I imagine that happened when downsizing it. I wish we could post larger files on here too. Drives me nuts.

Stunning at the zoom. Do you use HDR in some of your photos? The colors and lighting is very appealing.

Yes, being shot at is a definite downer when you are trying to enjoy nature. I had that happen once.
