Description

Just north of St. George, Utah. A nice spot on BLM land, but daily people come out and shoot. I have had bullets ricocheting past me recklessly. Didn't know a gun trumps being there first, but I have felt it was to drive me out of what they feel is their place. When in fact it belongs to us all. On top off all that they leave shot up targets and shell casings all over. The BLM has done nothing about it, but if they do, I am sure they will end up regulating everyone's actions .. IF YOU DON'T LOOK FULL VIEW YOUR NOT REALLY SEEING IT!.

I like the distal snow capped mountains and how they tie the land in with the sky. Amazing sky structure and wonderful soft late day colors. I would not have believed this to be an f 5.6 shot given the great depth of focus.

Wonderful tonal range and composition. Unfortunately I see a bit of pixeling in the clouds. I imagine that happened when downsizing it. I wish we could post larger files on here too. Drives me nuts.
