I realize that yesterday’s Green Heron chicks were not very high up on the cute list. So this is what the chicks will look like if they survive. They will grow up to be 18 inches (46cm) long and with a wingspan of about 26 inches (66cm). Photo taken at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands Wildlife Refuge. . Zoom will help to see the details.
