Description

Took this 4 shot stack (stacked with Helicon). It's at my closest macro I can get (that was with my Canon 50mm+Life-size convertor with a +10 close-up filter). I have only tried stacking shots a few times and it still seems hard to me. lol. But finally got a new PC (replaced a 10 year old system) and love the way the new graphics card renders my images on my flat screen. SO I was inspired to make a serious effort on this one. This image was heavily postworked. Mostly cloning out a lot of the fallen pollen that was all over the flower petals. I do like it cleaner. Anyway, FULL VIEW would be nicer imo. Thanks for looking and any comments. -Bruce PS seems Helicon wont save any EXIf data, so .... All 4 shots were ISO 100, f/16 1/200 with flash.

This is superb! I love the hidden details that reveal themselves on full zoom. There's a delicious, non-flowery organic quality to this, and the colors are superbly intense. Wonderful, as usual.

Oooooh, the translucence of the filaments and the little hairs down in the 'throat' of the bloom....it's wonderous. Great work.

Very creative. Am I the only one who sees a big-nosed man with fluffy hair & a beard? I saw it in the thumbnail & I'm having a hard time seeing it as anything else...

That detail is so unfamiliar that it is almost like some sort of alien! Good work!

Great work , I've tried stacking and its not easy .I have a set of Cannon bellows converted to fit my 5D mk2 the trouble is even on a tripod things move around too much to try stacking on it.
