Description

There now followed a heated debate on the pro's and cons of continuing the project. The F-104 was far to heavy, pigs don't want to fly unless as passengers, for Tailspin to fly the F-104, the only safe place to locate the pig was in the nose, Tailspin plus a 200 lb pig in one end would be very unstable.......The only logical solution was a pig with Tailspin's desire to fly, combined with human intelligence and dexterity. Having gathered new material , Neiwil would leave Tailspin to build another F-104, while he went to visit his old school friend Runsiman, in the hope he could help. As Neiwil was leaving the workshop, Tailspin was looking scornfully at the Turnip masher and mountain of turnips, "could you ask him for an easier way to do THIS!,.." he begged." NO!" came the short reply. "why ever not.." pleaded Tailspin, as Neiwil walked out the door he said, " Because you fell through my bloody roof!!!!"...It was an eight mile hike to Couchbutt Sanscomfort Dell, every foot pounding step of the way, Neiwil was dogged by a feeling he'd forgotten 'something'.He couldn't have left the oven or iron on, he didn't need to lock up...but there was something!! Occasionally he would stop to remove a stone from his boot and rub his sore, blistered feet. After several hours he reached his destination and sat in a breach in the boundary wall to catch his breath. He surveyed Runsiman's home, a small caravan that an Estate Agent might describe as a ' cozy abode, compact and easy to maintain'. He also admired the horse grazing on the lush grass, it reminded him of HIS horse back at the Inventorium........"bugger!!!", he muttered to his swollen feet. Runsiman T Runestone stepped out of the caravan and came over, he wore a long green robe and had a long white beard and a pointy Wizard hat perched on his head.He had always been 3 inches taller than Neiwil, except when it was the other way round, which often freaked Neiwil out when they were kids. After the usual pleasantry's, Neiwil asked about Wendy and Frank, Runsiman informed him they had gone walking, naked, in the forest to commune with nature and hump each others brains out. Runsiman continued " I've asked them to collect some Toxicodendron diversilobum while they're out, I need it for a potion". Neiwil asked " Isn't that Poison Oak ?", Runsiman was impressed! "Why, yes it is " he said. Neiwil enquired, " Isn't that a bit.....'difficult' to collect, naked!?". Runsiman seemed surprised, " Heavens no! not round here, bloody stuff grows like snot weed in these woods, you can't take two steps without falling over great masses of the stuff!, shouldn't be difficult at all", he said. After a pause Runsiman said, " let's go inside, I have a brew on and you can tell me what I can do to help". Neiwil eyed the 'cozy' caravan, although not technically claustrophobic, he was not entirely comfortable in cramped, ( sorry !, cozy ) conditions. Runsiman entered and Neiwil followed, bending almost double to get through the small door. Once inside, Neiwil was amazed!, it 'seemed' far more spacious than he had imagined, he craned his neck, taking in his surroundings. "Everything alright ?", asked Runsiman. Neiwil replied, "Yes.....it's just bigger than I thought". Runsiman smiled, " Really ?, I did a Foundation Course in Interior Design when studying for my Maje-ors, it's just clever lighting and furniture placement.........'mostly'!" he added. "NOW!, how can I be of assistance ?", Neiwil recounted the events of the previous few days, Runsiman listened and occasionally made notes, nodding his head and saying, " I seee !". When Neiwil finished, Runsiman stood up and went to the bookcase at the rear of the caravan, running his finger along a row of books he said, " Ahhh, here it is.......

Man, this is getting more and more interesting. The plot thickens, as they say. ANd the double image - outside and inside - what a great contrast. I little magic here and there and you can fit anything into anything. And about fitting, you've done another great job at fitting foreground and background (Scotland? Wales?) together in the upper image. Keep up the good work! :-) Er, perhaps Runsiman has a spell to add a 6 to the rating system? So I can give you a 6! :-)
