Hi, My name is Bill and I am updating my homepage to reflect a wonderful event in my life...marriage, September 18, 2010, to my best friend Tara...known to many of you as auntietk here on Renderosity.
We "met" shortly after I joined Renderosity in August 2008. We share a love for photography and indeed all types of art.
We live north of Seattle and enjoy getting to share photographic excursions and information with other Renderositians ( is "Renderositians" even a word? ). LOL
As for me, it seems like I've been taking pictures all my life but I didn't get serious enough to purchase my first Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera until May 2008. In May 2009 I upgraded from an Olympus E-510 to an Olympus E-30 with a wide variety of lenses.
My subject areas of interest include absolutely everything but with a frequent return to airplanes, cars, tanks, etc., ...or as Tara says, machines that make lots of noise;-)
If you are curious, I am pictured above in a Grumman Corsair on a taxiway of the Kansas City Downtown Airport. I used to fly and train others to fly airplanes. That will explain my frequent forays into the world of aviation. Last but by no means least, thanks to Pannyhb for introducing me to Renderosity. The moment I saw it I was hooked.
Fine print: Yes, the photo above is a photo manipulation:-)

That's enough to keep me on the straight and narrow.

LOL at Ronnie! I love the UK, and even prison life can be comparatively pleasant here compared to the USA.

Pretty elaborate & decorative architecture for a prison. But I won't be planning to book a room at the Chateau Idaho State Pen anytime soon...

Excellent stonework if you zoom and look around!

Splendid shot here, marvelous place, fine work!

Yikes, Bill! What did you do/not do to get inside there? Interesting symmetry and stone work. The sun and shadow make a nice break in the symmetry. Not somewhere most folks would like to be. Keep up the good work. This is interesting from the architectural point of view.

I am sure they would rather go to prison I Denmark. Then you can have tv and be educated, while you are there. Its like a luxus hotel. Hmm. That door is really spoiling the beautiful building. Would have been better, was it made of wood or atleast another color than that :)

Very nice capture.

It's lovely architecture, too bad it was used for such a sad function; even more sad that people do things that require prisons to begin with! Wonderful shot!

Such a different feeling in the courtyard than inside the buildings. This looks quite pleasant!

I have to agree with most of the other comments it is however prison and not a resort. I always say send them out on a raft in the middle of the ocean and be done with them... sorry but if you do the crime pay the fine.
