The ladybird (beetle) is part of the classification Coleoptera: Coccinelidae. They are fierce predators of aphids and are regarded as a good insect to have in your garden, especially near Roses.

Great pic of the ladybug.... I got one up too of a ladybug...I think its called Cosmo and the Lady Bug or Lady Bug and Cosmo one............hope you drop by and give it a look see This is a fav......those leaf's sure are bright and green...look like you could reach out and just rub one...........
