Captured 4/13/13, early morning, hanging by the front door of a local pawn shop.

If one is good four is better? They look so serious until you realize that three of them are just strung on the chain and not actually locking anything at all...it makes me curious as to why they hang like this. What a great find and superior capture, Harry! I have one like this on my deep freezer in the carport since someone took a bunch of food from it a while back when it was unsecured! Although I tend to think that if someone is stealing food they must need it. Unfortunately my mom and dad don't agree, and wanted to lock it up.

A true find in the world of locks. Very colorful. My guess...there probably is a pull-down gate or grate of some kind that is locked to the red metal frame at four places to keep unwanted overnight visitors away from jewelry, guns, etc.
