Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Nice one Marilyn. I love the beach when it's like this.

Excellent and the bird adds a final touch! Such a wingspan, perhaps it was an albatross.

Darn, I thought it would be the Lone Ranger's horse. That said, I love these kind of mood shots.

Love the feel of this! I can almost smell the sea spray. The bird is perfect. Great!

Really Good, I can almost feel the moisture on my face, and a chill in my bones.

I was actually sitting at Corey's place, looking at this, but for some reason, I didn't comment until now. Which is funny, since Corey commented substantially before I did, which just goes to show that he's got his act together and I was probably distracted by something involving chocolate, rice, or guacamole. Anyway, this strikes me now the way that it did when I saw it earlier, and it's interesting seeing it now, after just commenting on your latest post. I love the bird in this. It makes me think of a condor. This is so well done!
