My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

The shadows across the stone is fabulous. And I look at the darkened windows and I see a hundred generations of lives inside there. So many stories could be told of those lives.

On it's own this is a great B&W! BUT! If it weren't Mesa Verdi, I'm not so sure B&W does this justice...I have seen many awesome shots of this! Looking forward to seeing more!

I keep looking to see if John Wayne is hiding behind some of the rubble, waiting to take down the outlaws. Cool capture

This looks like something on another planet, someplace with less of an atmosphere and a more distant sun (sounds like a rock band, eh?) Beautiful shadowplay, and I look forward to your next installment!

I think B&W fits this very well, Tara - although I wouldn't mind seeing it in its natural color. What I'd reall like is seeing it in person.. Wonderful capture, Tara!

Outstanding atmosphere. You can almost see the ghosts of the original inhabitants.
jayfar
Very dramatic and I think B&W suits it.

Looking at this, i think you are right about B/W. This looks fantastic. Love it... actually it could be good for a painting.

The absence of color heightens the emotion. I really, seriously like this! It's quite amazing, quite haunting. Brilliant!

I was going to say it looks best in black and white.. Brings out the details better.. Good one Tara. Rob
