Description
Prunus rotundifolia flower with a Drone-fly, probably Eristalis tenax.
My new Hoverfly book is so detailed that it throws suspiscion on many of my previously confident ID's! I shall have plenty to do on a wet Sunday in the winter going through my Hoverfly files.
