Description
Lighting and the color of the lighting used with Alba has a big effect on how she looks - as I have demonstrated here. The lights used from left to right are the following colors: aqua, blue/purple, gold, green and orange. This is true of her default skin, but even moreso of her 'shimmer-skin' which she is wearing here. The 'shimmer-skin' is basically the same as wet skin or sweaty skin, and like water picks up colors, reflecting them back.
Alba was made like this intentionally because A) in the story that is how Rindarian skin is, B) it's what gives her the ability to function as various fantasy characters, and C) it's part of her 'magic'. She is a chimaerical girl - a chameleon. So, that's why she looks different in different renders - it's whatever lighting I used ;) Also, something I discovered after seeing Art's three different renders of her - if you apply her 'shimmer skin' and then apply SSS to her skin in the material room, it wipes out the shimmer effect.
I kind of like the green - lol.

That's a great study, testing a model in different colors by a special skin texture. Interesting to see what the effects are, you did a fine job in this image,hon! To be honest, I like the orange one. Gr.Rudy.

A really colorful and wonderful comparison of lighting effects on your lovely lady Alba, Ray! Yeah, I noticed that about using SSS on her. I tried it both ways with that last render I did with Alba fixing things in the spaceship, and I ended up not using SSS on that one.. Beautiful work, my dear friend!
