As I approach the hallway I have nearly caught up to Bit and Titan. Titan seems to have stopped to point at something but I can't afford to stop and see what, I round the the corner as fast as I can almost overtaking Bit. "Oh my god!" Out of the corner of my eye I see many small figures, pretty sure I saw something much larger as well. I can't look back, running at this speed in the dark is dangerous enough. I can feel Tate is right behind me, so close I would swear I can feel his breath on the back of my neck. "Hayden, listen to me. We can't out run them, chances are they know where they are going and we do not. Up ahead we are going to have to stop and defend ourselves." I'm scared, I can feel he is right along side me now. "What are they?" I ask. "Goblins!" he replies. "Listen Hayden, I need you to do exactly as I say, no arguing and no questions...can you do that?" "Yes!" I reply without hesitation. "Good. We are coming up on another room. We WILL get through this, just stay close." I know he is trying to make me feel better but I can hear the fear in his voice. I don't think he is scared for himself but I think he is worried he won't be able to protect me. I have put him in the very situation he said he did not want to be put in when we first met, but I can't worry about that now. Now I have to prepare for the fight of my life...
