We won the battle but not without a price, Hayden was struck by the troll. When I heard the heavy hand of the monster slam into her my heart stopped. I knew their was little chance she could survive such a blow. I watched in horror as her body fell lifelessly to the floor. As I kneel down beside her I notice that her eyes are closed and her breathing is very faint. "Hayden...Hayden, can you hear me?" No response. I begin to check her over and can tell immediately she has one broken rib, probably at least one more as well. This is bad, if she wakes she will be in no condition to continue. Heading back at this point is just as long and dangerous, her chances of survival now are very slim. My ears pick up noise, I reach back and grab my sword expecting a goblin but to my surprise I see the two minions approaching. If only Hayden were conscious, I would love to see her smile right now as I know she would when she saw that her little friends survived. I'm not sure how they managed it but am glad they did. "I'm sorry guys, she isn't doing to good at the moment." I see the panic on both of their faces and wish their was something, anything I could do at this point. "we're in trouble. We can't stay here and moving her at this point might kill her, I don't know what to do." They both take a moment to ponder the situation, unfortunately Titan just shrugs his shoulders while Bit shakes his head, they have no ideas either. A decision must be made, sitting here we are just asking for trouble. "I have to move her, it's going to hurt bad but it's the only choice we have right now." I pick her up as gently as I can and she barely responds, she is getting worse by the minute. There is no way I can carry her and her hammers, they will have to be left behind...
