Description

I've wanted to do a mermaid under water for a long time. Well here it is. Verdict is still out on this one so honest critiques are needed. Having no clue how to do an underwater scene, I simply turned Flink's water on its side and moved it in front of her then spent a lot of time working on lights. The question is: Does it work? looks goos and misty. so far i use for underwater scenes a background on a pane to make it look 3d and another one complete water-bg in front and i play with transparency.so far nobody has shot me yet (lol). but then i dont go soo much for realism i concentrate more on the message i want to give with the image.on the tech side of 3d i am a bit weak so to speak.

It's always good have friends, especially in the depths ! Crit, the fake sun light rays are coming from the opposite direction the the main light source (check the jellyfish dome) as for the underwater feel, I use lots of blue fog or in Poser's case, use the depth cue in the background drop-down in the material room.
