A Happy Mother's day to all the Mom's
This a vertical stitch of Vernal falls ( has been reduced by 50% in order to make upload requirements).
Have struggled when having a double rainbow, there are two, the second is to the left of the one seen. Can never completely get that second rainbow to show up with my DSLR. Will figure that out one of these day's
This is a much different angle then the one before, as we approached the waterfall. Here we are marching up a very steep trail that goes to the top. Stairs have been cut into the rock wall right along the side of Vernal falls

That is so awesome! I really love the chipmunk. Every time I see a picture of this area, I have to think it is a recent event geologically that produced it because all the boulders still have sharp edges. None of them are water worn yet. Anyway HAPPY MOTHERS DAY for all the moms!

Last time I tried to hike up there, the path was covered in nearly a foot of water; it was so wet!! I got soaked just from the mist. Your Yosemite fotos always make me want to go back!!

You can see just a hint of the other rainbow on the lower rocks. They are tricky to capture! A wonderful image and thank you, Dana! Hope you and your family are having a good Mother's Day!

I see the hint of the second rainbow; maybe it's being hidden in the highlights of the cascading water. I'd try decreasing the light, but no guarantee there, that's just my usual first step. Wonderful view and capture!

maybe put it on a neg side like 1,2,3, on and on . On my camera i can turn the back wheel and press on a button on top and it will show a line and it will make the image darker or lighter. try that not sure how hour camera will work and also i do not have the terms of what these buttons are. just know how to use them lol.
