Description
This is sort of an unusual capture. You can find many photographs of this church, but none would've been shot from this angle. Why? Because, from this point of view so close to the church (± 6 m) and with my back to the churchyard wall, it's virtually impossible to capture the whole scene in one shot, unless perhaps with a fisheye lens. So, for this image I took fourteen different shots. It took three portrait oriented shots to cover the tower vertically, and three to cover the scene horizontally (that's 3 x 3 = 9 shots). I added some more shots, portrait and landscape oriented, to be covered on the perspectives.
The fourteen shots were then merged together to form one image. Photoshop's Photomerge function made nice work of that.
