Fill 'er up! I wish they would at least check my tires. I'm getting too old to bend down to check the pressure and add more air. Anyway, another fabulous capture from deep in the bowels of Tennessee, Lynell. Nature reclaims its own. And, something right out of an apocalyptic movie.

Makes me think of "Back to the Future", with all the nice white-uniformed service gents racing out to take care of you when you pull in...I also remember gas wars at 20 cents a gallon. I must be very old indeed! Wonderful shot of nature reclaiming technology!

I remember. now just put a card into the gas pump and pump it yourself and halve the time you have to go in to get a receipt lol

This is an oldie but goodie rarely see these anymore but used to all time when i was growing up all we had around here were pumps like this thanks for the memories with this one i am hanging in with the treatments only 7 more to go plz keep me in your prayers going through so much hugs susan

When I was a kid, I was a gas jockey. remember those days well - wash your window, check your oil etc.

there's one station in town that isn't self serve... but to be on the safe side... i always check my own oil... the old rusty pumps, the derelict rememberences of a day gone... some sadness... awesome pic!
