Description
In October 1969, a Cuban pilot defected, flying his MIG-17 undetected until a military base in Miami, where he landed. As it so happened that on the track was the "Air Force One" awaiting the return of President Nixon, the incident forced to restructure the radar system.
An excuse to present the model in preparation, we here show with Cuban markings and the number of the plane of the incident, just out of the paint cabin in my workshop.
The paint is still fresh, and I have much work to do, because the MIG-17 was an "best seller" and flew in the air forces of 41 countries.

Great model, as usual. But this was not in Spanish use. :-) But there is one thing I don't like. The missiles were not part of this version of MiG-17. The MiG-17 able to use missiles had a different nose with radar. If you would make both versions would be great. Please Pedro, keep on your outstanding work.
