WOW! Like you, I have no idea what these are called, but I have a few insect friends who'd probably call them, "Salad" and so maybe I'll stick with that name. I think I saw their cousins a few days ago, here in Chicago. They're really gorgeous! The flower-business parts are so small. That's one of my favorite aspects of them, whatever they are. This shot rocks. I love the DOF and that nice, lush, green color highlighting the flower bloom. Really nice!

It looks like a type of Lantana to me, it has been declared as a noxious weed here in NSW - there you go, who is to to say it's a weed, when it looks like a cute little flower? BB
