Description
This is my friend's beautiful backyard. There are a multitude of trees, flowers, herbs, fruits & vegetables growing in abundance, as well as several cats (one of whom will be featured in my post tomorrow). We have spent many very enjoyable afternoons hanging out with our friends there & it will be among several that will be featured on a local tour that's coming up soon, with the proceeds going to charity. I'd spend hours there, and hours more on that swing! This is an incredibly gorgeous shot: I love the brilliant, natural colors and the overall mood. This says Summer in all of the best possible ways. The wheelbarrow left where it is provides a wonderful, poetic sense as well...something of a Zen/Shinto reminder that reality is preferable to perfection. Brilliant.

Ten out of ten. Wonderful photo. Add a little girl in pigtails on the swing, eating an apple, and you would get 11 out of 10... and a photo you could sell by the bucketload!
