Description


Travel is always a hazardous proposition. There is much mistrust and suspicion leveled at strangers. Generally, you will find 2 or 3 towns in close proximity. These towns will work together for mutual benefit and protection. Travel between these towns is, for the most part, safe. However, every time you stray from their boundaries, you put your life at risk. The land will try to kill you, animals will try to kill you, and even some plants will try to kill you. But, most dangerous of all is your fellow man. For this reason, scholars travel alone most of the time. Across wide stretches of wasteland, through the narrow confines of valleys and ravines, over mountain trails and rolling planes we pursue our lonely quest for knowledge. Oh, I love your story and this whole post-apocalypse thing. I'm beginning to wonder if it was worth it to "survive".....especially with most of the books gone. This is such a neat image. Kudos!!!!!!
